LEATHER CARE MADE SIMPLE
We get a lot of questions regarding how to take care of leather. It makes a lot of sense, all luxury and exotic cars are basically all leather inside! Caring for leather is simple and comes down to a routine and process that must be followed and essentially no matter what the case is, always be very gentle on the leather. That means no harsh chemicals and no hard scrubbing. Leatherique has been around for a very long time and makes no car cleaning products. They only make leather care products. My experience with most things is that it's easier to do one thing amazingly well than several. So when we see detailing companies offer 30 different products and a leather cleaner, that cleaner won't be as good as a company that has only made leather cleaner for longer than most of us have been alive. Rejuvenator Oil is a simple liquid product that you can rub into your leather and let it soak in for as long as possible. This is a longer process and recommended for seats that need serious care. If they seem very dry or old this will bring the natural leather feel back. If they are not very dry or old this will still bring back a feel to your leather that you may have never experienced in your ownership!
Why We Use It
This product will truly bring a softness and new leather feel back to your seats and leather. It is best to apply it once a year to your heavily used leather surfaces and can be put on light to medium in terms of how much to use. We recommend using medium to large amounts on very dry or worn out leather and leaving it on as long as possible, a few hours is best. If the leather is already in good shape, and this is more of a yearly maintenance, 30 minutes will make a difference you will be happy with.
APPLICATION
The way we like to apply this is with gloves and a microfiber or microfiber block. It will be a little messy! Once you work it in you can grab a heat gun or blow dryer and heat the leather up a little so the pours open up and accept more of the oil! Once finished, you can use warm water in a sprayer and clean towels to wipe away the oil. Then follow up with a few applications of Prestine Clean.
This is a little like clay barring. You only use it when you need to. So the bottle will last you a very long time. The leather feel you achieve will last indefinitely if you maintain with Prestine Clean and use the Oil as needed at least yearly.
