PREMIUM DRYING
This drying towel is very different than any other towel you have probably used. It combines very high GSM Microfiber fibers that will absorb a tremendous amount of water while not harming your paint. It is also a waffle weave drying towel. Waffle weave towels tend to be made out of different materials and are a little more coarse in nature and design. The combinations of a waffle weave design with high quality, high GSM Microfiber creates the best drying towel we have ever used. When you feel this towel you're going to know right away that you are holding a premium product and that, when compared to other towels in your garage, isn't even close to this quality.
Why We Use It
You are most likely to scratch your car during the drying process. When you miss some dirt in your wash process, you pick it up on your drying towel and then have the potential to rub it back into the paint and create swirl marks. When you use a product like a chamois the dirt has nowhere to go, so it rubs the dirt directly into your paint very violently and this is why you will need to throw that out immediately if you are using one! A plush waffle weave towel will trap the dirt deep in the fibers while the surface of the towel remains cleaner! This greatly reduces the chance for swirls.
PACKAGE
We only offer this in one size for a specific reason. When you use the giant version of this towel, you are more likely to make mistakes like accidentally drag it on the ground when drying doors and fenders. It will get very heavy as it gets soaked with water and you're less likely to efficiently use the large surface area because it's so cumbersome. So, we offer the medium size towel to remedy all the above drawbacks. This size will maximize efficiency and gives you four towels. Don't be afraid to look at your towel after doing a few sections and say "that's to dirty to keep using" and just grab another and continue drying with a clean towel. If you only had one towel and it's huge, if it begins to get overly dirty halfway into drying the car, you're kinda outta luck and will need to use your non-drying towels to finish. I would consider buying two packs, meaning 8 towels, especially if you have a few cars in the garage and driveway.
LONGEVITY
Your Drying towel ideally should not really get dirty very often. If your wash process is awesome, then you're not picking up dirt in the drying towel often or ever. At some point it will get dirty and need to be washed. Your normal washing machine on the gentle cycle should suffice. Use very little detergent. We recommend something like Tide Free and Clear with no dyes or perfumes added. Basically the cheapest soap with no fabric softener included. Your towels should last years if properly taken care of and you're not washing excessively. Having two packs is a good idea if you have 3 or more cars.
