THE PERFECT TIRE FINISH

We have tried a lot of tire dressing and tire shines and never found something with the perfect finish until now. CarPro Perl is also very good and sold in our store but Gyeon Q2 Tire is hands down my favorite. Q2 tire is more difficult to put on but the result is better and the finish is much preferred. It is ceramic based too! This means it beads water and repels dirt better with a self cleaning effect. The finish is best described as a matte or satin finish with zero sling onto the car after applying. It has an amazing smell too! Perl has no smell for reference. 

Why We Use It

We use Gyeon Q2 tire when we have the extra time to apply. It takes a few minutes per tire to really work in and apply to the tire. It is a thick and almost sticky product but still pretty spreadable. If I'm in a rush, I reach for Perl but if I have a few extra minutes I grab Q2 Tire every time. I prefer the finish to anything else and the protection is very good! 

APPLICATION

Apply Q2 Tire after washing the tire well with a tire cleaner like Gyeon Tire Cleaner or P&S Brake Buster. Once the tire is clean, you will need to dry the tire. Then, you can apply Q2 Tire. You can put the first application on pretty heavily and then if you have a heat gun, you can grab one and heat it up! This will help it bond even better! It's a very unique process.  

LONGEVITY

I notice that Q2 Tire lasts around a month per application. Gyeon says it will last 5 washes. You will notice the protection fade slowly over time just like any other protection but the tire will stay noticeably darker and cleaner looking. That great satin finish will wear off after about 1-2 weeks and if that's very desirable, like it is to me. then just reapply it more often to keep your tires looking amazing all the time!

Q² Tire is the first and only SiO₂ based tire coating. It guarantees not only durability but splendid visual effects as well. The product might be layered or heated up in order to extend its durability even further.

The super concentrated, SiO2 infused formula of Q² Tire requires a very high level of surface preparation. Make sure you clean the tyre with Q²M TireCleaner and let it dry. Rub a small amount of the product into the surface and let it dry. TIP: To prolong the durability of Q² Tire, heat the surface tyre wall with a heat gun. This will open the micropores of the rubber and allow the product to soak in. A more matte finish and extended durability are the result.

Q² Tire is brilliantly efficient in repelling dirt and is a product which ensures at least a couple of washes. It stays on even when applying water under pressure, while its ability to penetrate into the rubber structure ensures that is keeps its effects visible for a long time.
